HEALTHY RECIPE : TANGY RICE


HEALTHY  RECIPE :   TANGY  RICE
















2 CUP RICE ( ROW )

2 CUP CABBAGE - SHREDDED

2 POTATO -CUTS IN FINGER CHIPS SHAPE

1 CUP GREEN PEAS - BOILED

2 GREEN CHILLY - FINELY CHOPPED

3 CUP TOMATO - FINELY CHOPPED

2 ONIONS - CHIPES

1 CUP SOUSE

1 TBSP. LEMON JUICE

PINCH SUGAR

SALT AS PER TEST

1  1/2 TSP. RED CHILLY POWDER

1 TSP. CUMIN SEEDS

7-8 CURRY LEAVES

4-5 LAVANG - CLOVES

2 TAJ PATTA - SEA LEAVES

3 TBSP. OIL + GHEE

BOIL THE RICE ADDING WITH 1 TBSP. GHEE AND 1 TSP. SALT.
THEN DRAIN THE REST OF WATER.
KEEP ASIDE.

CUTS A POTATO IN FINGER CHIPS SHAPE.
FRY TILL LIGHT GOLDEN COLOUR, KEEP ASIDE

BOIL A GREEN PEAS IN HOT WATER FOR SOFTNESS OF PEAS.
DRAIN THE REST OF WATER.
KEEP ASIDE.

HEAT A GHEE AND OIL INTO THE THICK BOTTOMED PAN.
ADD CUMIN SEEDS, CLOVES, SEE LEAVES AND CURRY LEAVES
WHEN THEY CRACKLE ADD ONION CHIPS.
SAUTÉ TILL THEY ARE TRANSLUCENT.
ADD THE CHOPPED TOMATOES AND CABBAGE
COOK TILL THEY ARE SOFT WITH ONION CHIPS. MIX WELL TOGETHER.
















NOW ADD SUGAR, SALT AND RED CHILLI POWDER IN IT.
MIX WELL.ADD THE BOILED PEAS AND FRY POTATO FINGER CHIPS, LEMON JUICE AND CHOPPED GREEN CHILLY.



















MIX WELL.
THEN ADD THE COOKED RICE AND MIX VERY LIGHTLY TO AVOID CRACKING THE COOKED  RICE.














THEN ADD 1 CUP OF SOUSE TO MAKE TANGY TEST OF RICE.
















( YOU CAN ADD SOUSE SOME MORE OR AS PER YOUR TEST.)MIX SLIGHTLY.
GARNISH WITH LEMON,TOMATO, SEA LEAVES AND CLOVES.
