HEALTHY RECIPE  :  BROKEN WHEAT BASOONDI WITH MANGO






















1/2 CUP BROKEN WHEAT (BULGUR WHEAT) - SOAKED IN WATER 

2 CUP MILK 

1 TBSP. GHEE

2 TBSP. CONDENSED MILK

1/2 CUP MANGO - CHOPPED

PINCH CARDAMOM POWDER

SOAK A BROKEN WHEAT IN A WATER FOR 3-4 AN HOURS FOE BEST RESULT.
AFTER 3-4 AN HOURS DRAIN THE WATER AND KEEP ASIDE.

HEAT THE GHEE IN A THICK BOTTOMED NON STICK PAN.
ADD SOAKED BROKEN WHEAT IN IT AND MIX WELL WITH GHEE.
THEN SAUTÉ ONLY FOR 2 SECONDS. NOT MORE 




















THEN ADD 2 CUP OF MILK AND STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY OVER MEDIUM FLAME.
BOIL TILL SOAKED BROKEN WHEAT IS COOK AND SOFT.
ADD 2 TBSP. OF CONDENSED MILK IN IT AND MIX WELL TOGETHER.

















STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY TILL BASOONDI DONE IN THICKEN CONSISTENCY. 




















REMOVE FROM FLAME AND COOL ON A BED OF ICE.
WHEN COMPLETELY COOL, ADD THE CHOPPED MANGO IN IT AND MIX.
ADD CARDAMOM POWDER AND MIX.
SERVE IN A SERVING BOWL - GARNISH WITH SOME CHOPPED MANGO.IT'S A VERY NICE NUTRITIOUS AND VERY HEALTHY SWEET FOR ANY AGES PEOPLE.
